One of the first images of the new LEGO creator expert set has been seen on a dutch webshop. The new set is called “Nasa Apolla 11 Lunar Lander” and will be released on the 1st of June.
What we already know about this set is that it contains 1087 pieces and will be available for around 89,99 Euro or around 8.3 cent per piece.
Since we don’t have that many pictures about the set it is hard to guess what the level of detail will be. But if we do a quick comparison with the 2003 set of Lego, the Lunar Lander (10029), which contained 457 parts we can only hope that there will be an enhanced level of detail in this set.
The box will be released with the official Apollo 50 logo that was introduced in 2018 to celebrate the jubilee.
All in all it can be said that Lego is releasing a lot of space related sets the coming months and this is a must have for the (A)FOLs who are into the creator sets. It’s also a nice addition towards the LEGO 21309 – NASA Apollo Saturn V.
